Kindred ones, wow. I am ALWAYS humbled by the power of Eclipses, but I will admit, this one is stronger than I’ve felt it awhile. Even in the face of significant change and challenge, I can still feel the force of LOVE behind it all. Grace wears the mask of discomfort, and waits patiently for you to recognize her within every hardship, indeed.
Perhaps it’s due to my own stellium in Virgo, but I do feel the potency of Life’s teachings to be especially poignant right now. I can almost SEE The Great Mother playing hide + seek, in every circumstance that arises. She is smirking, teasing me even! What a gift to be in dynamic relationship to it all.
I have also felt the Ancestors particularly close. As many of you know, our last Full Moon / Lunar Eclipse in Pisces (Sept 7th) was the beginning of Pitru Paksha, the fortnight of the Ancestors in the Vedic Calendar. This weekend, the New Moon / Solar Eclipse in Virgo will officially bring that portal to a close, making it a great time for some ritual of RELEASE. I will absolutely be making a fire to celebrate + honor the potent portal this has been. May we connect our altars in solidarity across time + space.

SIGNIFICATOR: Since the first day of Virgo Season, Mother Demeter met us at the doorway to walk us through the field of reeds, learning the ways of living + dying. Now, on this last day of Virgo season, Her teachings reach a culmination. She speaks to us of Truth, looking directly into our eyes with unwavering compassion. ‘Life is Precious, Child. Waste No More’. This card represents the overarching theme of this cycle, that is vital to turn towards fully + recognize as truth. This has been a teaching in Sacrifice, to honor what is truly sacred to you.
FULL CIRCLE: This Eclipse closes a loop, bringing full-circle resolution to the story that began for us on the Dark Moon, back on August 23rd, 2025. This card represents what began at that threshold, as you were initiated under teachings of Virgo. Notice what was coming up for you at that first lunation ~ look at your journal, your notes app, your photo reel. Recognize it as the first glimmers of the cycle, the subtle hints of the larger teaching underway. What have you learned in the process that has unfolded? This card represents the callback, that is also very much embedded within this present moment. Close the Loop, enter the circle.
THRESHING: We are here on the threshing floor, indeed. The maiden holds her scythe and asks if we are ready to let go, once and for all. We have been wasting our precious resources, letting it go on for this long. No more. Plug the leaks, fill the cracks, sew the seams. Draw all your energy back into your center. This card represents the sacrifice that is REQUIRED for you to do so; what must you leave on the threshing floor? Let it go, set it down. Cut away the excess Some seeds must be sacrificed, as rotten crops make the best compost. Death is necessary to give way to new Life.
FIRST STEP: Did you feel that? The moment you set down the excess, a door opened somewhere in the landscape of your life. A new cycle was set in motion. Trust in this, kin. The snake bites its tail, and your courage is ALWAYS rewarded. I know things feel strange & uncertain right now; that’s because THEY ARE. Give yourself to it fully; go ALL THE WAY IN. That’s the only way through. Trust that you’ll come out on the other side with more clarity than ever before, connected to the depths of your truth. This card is the first courageous step in a new direction, that sets something in motion. What will you grow in the places where you have made such brave sacrifice? Plant a seed in the soil while the blood is still fresh. Let it feed this Great Becoming.
ENTER THE DARK: As the Equinox ushers us into the season of Darkness, we go deeper within ourselves. Everything you have left behind on the Threshing Floor will allow you to see things for What They Are, exact + true. Pick up your lantern, dear Hermit. Demeter has watched Persephone enter the Underworld a thousand times before. You know how to do this. Go within to find the truth. This card represents the journey that is ONLY JUST BEGINNING. Give yourself to it fully. Your future self awaits in the NOW.

Last year I released my first complete self-paced Online Astrology course, which is a compilation of over a decade of teachings and cross-cultural studies of Astrology. I’m very happy with the content shared in there, as it is abundant and deeply rooted in the integrity of my practice.
